Behind The Scenes At New York Fashion Week
This season, we took our discerning design ethos to New York Fashion Week in collaboration with Creatures of the Wind, creating an inventively transitional bag silhouette to complete the aesthetic of the Spring 2018 Collection titled 'Further'.
A study in adaptable design—each bag comes with two strap lengths that can be interchanged and worn around the neck, waist, or on the shoulder. The circular handle embodies confident femininity and a more formalized carrying option.

Each piece was crafted in Italy from rich Italian suede, Napa leather, and Saffiano with reinforced, hand-painted edges.
“For this season, it was important to us that the bags have a sense of being both classic and youthful. With this in mind, Cuyana naturally made sense as the ideal partner.”
Creatures of the Wind Co-Founder, Shane Gabier
The Collection draws upon the expansion of ideas and consciousness, making oneself available to new perspectives and possibilities, and the consideration of the existence of new worlds.

Each piece was an exploration of psychedelia through pattern, print, color, embellishments, and embroideries.
The Spring 2018 silhouette is focused on modern interpretations of 70s sportswear separates. Fabrics and patterns are slightly distorted deviations on classics.

Colors are broadly neutral, punctuated with optic white, bright red, and sunflower yellow.
This natural partnership was born out of the fateful meeting of our Founders and the realization that we shared the same values and perspectives. Whether it be a carefully considered approach to design or drawing on inspiration from the unexpected, there is emphasis on producing pieces conscientiously.
